What actually portrait photography is?

Well, now we all know that photography is an art of capturing the beauty of life / nature in different creative styles and portrait photography is also a kind of capturing the beauty of people.


Portrait photography is a form of photography that captures the mood, personality, and expression of an individual or group of individuals. The focus is usually on the face, although sometimes zoomed out to half- or full-body. Known as portrait photography.

Now, your camera has many different modes, but there are some specific ones through which you can take a perfect portrait photo.
  • Programm mode.
  • AV mode / A mode (also known as aperture priority mode).
  • Manual mode.
  • Portrait mode (autoportrait).

  • Camera: A good camera under your budget.

  • Use a lens with a smaller aperture.
  • Try to shoot close-up shots.
  • While shooting in harsh light, make sure you use a reflector.
  • While composing a photograph make sure you apply maximum rules.
